About

The Proctor School Science and Technology Booster is a non-profit organization. It is a fundraising organization whose purpose is to fund and maintain our current science and technology programs.

We want Proctor students to benefit from a quality science and technology education no longer offered by the State and District. In particular, the K-3 Science Program and the Science Intervention Program have no other means of support.

    • Non-profit taxpayer ID #45-0588514
    • Proctor School Science Booster, 17520 Redwood Road, Castro Valley, CA 94546

History

Until 2008, the district paid for Proctor’s K-3 Science Program and the 4-5 Science Intervention Program. When the school lost its funding, Proctor parents founded the Science and Technology Booster in order to keep these beneficial science and technology programs alive.

In order to achieve this goal the Science and Technology Booster:

    • Meets, organizes, and plans on an on-going basis.
    • Works in conjunction with School Site Council and staff to determine the most effective use of funds.
    • Accepts donations, solicits and raises money for the foregoing purposes.
    • Accepts tax-deductible bequests, memorial contributions and other gifts. Contact the Booster for details.
